At Linked2Literacy, we believe in the power of partnerships to make a difference in the lives of children across Nebraska. One of our most impactful collaborations is with TeamMates, an organization dedicated to providing mentorship and support to students throughout the Midwest.
About TeamMates
TeamMates, founded by Tom and Nancy Osborne in 1991, has been instrumental in fostering positive relationships between mentors and students. With over 1,000 matches in Lincoln alone and 192 chapters across the region, TeamMates serves as a beacon of hope and guidance for young individuals.

Through our partnership with TeamMates, Linked2Literacy is extending its reach to ensure that children not only have access to mentorship but also to the resources they need to thrive academically and personally.
Empowerment & Support
At Linked2Literacy, we are committed to empowering mentor matches through our partnership with TeamMates. By providing age-appropriate books, games, and toys, we enhance mentoring sessions, making learning enjoyable while reinforcing the importance of literacy in a child's development.
Moreover, we extend our support to schools involved with TeamMates throughout Nebraska. In addition to supplying mentor matches with educational materials, we provide bundles of books to foster a culture of reading and learning in communities statewide.
